What the Alkemi Limited Lifetime Warranty covers

Alkemi instruments are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, to the original purchaser, for as long as they own the instrument. Factory Installed Electronics are covered for One (1) year from the date of the original purchase.

In order to validate your warranty, proof of purchase or sales receipt must accompany all requests for warranty coverage, regardless of whether or not you have registered your instrument. Please keep it in a safe place.

The Alkemi Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover the following

Damages due to shipping.

Any instrument that has been altered or modified in any way including self repairs.

Any instrument that has been damaged due to misuse, negligence, improper maintenance, improper operation, and accidental damage of any kind including Acts of Nature.

Exposure to adverse temperature and/or humidity, and other careless action, which by its nature results in damage to any part of the instrument.

The subjective issue of tonal characteristics.

Setups, adjustments or routine maintenance.

Normal wear and tear of any part of the instrument (i.e; worn frets, worn machine heads, worn plating, string replacement, or damages to or discoloration of the instrument finish for any reason).

Any gig bag or case.

This warranty is strictly limited to repair or replacement of any and all parts of the instrument found, under this warranty, to be defective upon examination by Alkemi. Alkemi reserves the right to use materials utilized at the time of repair if original materials are no longer available.

Shipping and insurance charges to and from the factory for authorized repairs are the responsibility of the owner. Although we take great care in shipping any instrument, we are not responsible for any damage that occurs during shipping either to or from the factory.
